About Hours:
I have a Valve Indezx and this is one of my favorite VR game/experience up to now. This is perhaps more equivalent to reading a book or watching a movie, only in a totally new and more immersive way. You are there, and you don’t have to miss anything. All the characters are “performing” all of the time, they’re living their lives around you, and you go and follow whoever you please. The story is really well written, and the actors do an excellent job, especially the one playing Gustav Gustav, in my opinion. This is a really innovative format, and it’s perfect for a murder/mistery story. I loved it After playing Rime which I liked very much, I’ve looked up what other games Tequilla Works have made and found The Invisible Hours which looked interesting. It seemed like a game for me. This game is practically is what it says. One playthrough lasts about an hour. Yes the game is really short but it has some replayability value and nicely done achievements. First, this is an interactive story and if you thought that Telltale games, Quantic Dream games or ThatGameCompany games or Gone Home had not enough gameplay or interaction then this game is not for you. In this game you’re only an observer. You can’t control the characters, you can’t interact with them, you can’t interact with objects (except for looking closely at them and read messages). All you do is observe the characters, follow them and listen what they’re talking about. So why even play a game like this? Well, it has pretty nice story with some mystery.
